Ventura Adult and Continuing Education

For more than 50 years, Ventura Adult and Continuing Education (VACE), has been providing high-quality basic and vocational training to adults in Ventura and the surrounding communities. VACE is a proud part of the Ventura Unified School District and is dually accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school offer free classes for English as a Second Language, US Citizenship, High School Diploma, High School Equivalency test preparation (GED and HiSet), and basic computer skills. VACE's self-paced vocational program allows students to start a training program any week of the year and most programs can be completed in less than one year. VACE's vocational programs have above-average graduation and job placement rates. Careers include Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Business, Accounting, Graphic Arts, Digital Multimedia, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Computer Systems Technician, and Network Security Technician. VACE is an approved training school for the participants in the County of Ventura's Workforce Investment Act, CalWORKs, and the Veterans Administration.
