Somatic Revival
Somatic Revival is the name I've given to this work — an offering and invitation to come home to your body, to reawaken your inner knowing, and to reconnect with the untamed intelligence that lives beneath thought.
I believe our bodies hold profound wisdom — and that through gentle, embodied attention and touch, we can access deep healing, vitality, and connection. This is a revival of what many of us have forgotten: that the body is not something to overcome or fix, but something to listen to, honour, and trust.
I have over 20 years of experience facilitating movement in both community and academic spaces. At heart, I’m a soul-seeker and depth explorer, continually drawn to the Great Mystery — the unseen, felt intelligence that moves through all of us. For me, this work is sacred. It’s a way of remembering who we are, and reclaiming the creativity, presence, and wholeness that are always available through the body.
I’m an ISMETA-registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist. I originally trained as a contemporary dancer. I hold a Master’s in Somatic Practice, a diploma in Working Creatively with Trauma, and teaching certifications in Yoga, Pilates matwork, Conscious Connected Breathwork, and Myofascial Energetic Release Bodywork.
My approach integrates somatic movement, breathwork, bodywork, and trauma-informed creative practices, offering space for the softening of tension, the thawing of old patterns, and the return of aliveness.
