Home Fraud Defense™ is an education-based fraud awareness initiative dedicated to helping real estate professionals and homeowners recognize, prevent, and properly respond to real estate fraud. Through CE-approved courses, professional designations, and community education resources, Home Fraud Defense equips attendees with real-world tools to identify red flags, protect clients, and reduce risk in today’s rapidly evolving fraud environment.
Founded by real estate fraud advocate John Rowan, the program is built on practical experience, real case analysis, and current fraud trends. Home Fraud Defense education concepts have been presented to representatives from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and the Arizona Department of Real Estate, and the program incorporates lessons learned from real-world fraud investigations, including a major Scottsdale deed fraud case.
Home Fraud Defense™ offers continuing education, optional professional designations, and approved consumer education materials designed to help professionals become trusted fraud-aware resources in their offices and communities.
Home Fraud Defense™ programs and designations are private, education-based offerings and do not represent government or regulatory authority.
