I am Galen Wright, I am a child of GOD, Husband and Father of 6 beautiful kids. I've created Faith in Fatherhood to help reunite, restore, and empower fathers and their children by providing faith driven, community supported events that foster emotional healing, meaningful connection and long lasting family bonds. Through sports, activities, fellowship, and reunification therapy, we help families begin again, stronger and united. Faith in Fatherhood seeks to address one of the most critical and underserved issues in Metro Atlanta. The absence of fathers in the lives of children and the long term emotional, social, and economic effects that follow. Research consistently shows that children without active fathers are more likely to experience academic challenge, behavioral issues, and weakened future relationships. Our mission is to interrupt and reverse this generational cycle. Our events this year will be "Strikes for Fatherhood, Home Run Dads, BBQ Grill Off, Ready to Lead, Fathers Fright Night, Fathers Turkey Giveaway, and The Gift of Presents (toy drive)"
