Football Writing Festival 2023

The Football Writing Festival is back for its ninth edition this November.

This year's line-up features no fewer than nine in-person and online events - all included in the price of National Football Museum admission. That means you can get access to all of the talks for just £13 - and existing museum ticket holders and City of Manchester residents get in free!

The 2023 iteration features two evening talks, daytime in-conversation pieces and online events on some of football's hot topics, including the politics of club ownership, the transfer market, the WSL and the state of play in Ukraine, as well as additional talks on football in the First World War, recent Hall of Fame inductee Jack Leslie and last summer's Women's World Cup.

Unable to make every event? For the first time in festival history, Season Ticket holders will have exclusive access to every talk afterwards via the museum's YouTube channel - as well as gaining free entry to the museum for the duration of the festival.
