Dr. Nekia Staley, DDS

Dr. Nekia Staley-Neither, a native Washingtonian and dedicated mother of six, has been committed to serving the special needs community since her youth. She began her studies at Spelman College and later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. Specializing in treating individuals with disabilities, Dr. Nekia trained as a DECOD fellow at the University of Washington. Since 2004, she has owned and operated three dental practices in Prince George's County, Maryland, providing comprehensive dental care and employment opportunities to the community. In 2017, she founded the non-profit Special Care for Special Needs Dentistry, offering mobile services, caregiver support, and education to address the oral health needs of those with special needs. Dr. Nekia is also a licensed dentist in the Atlanta metro area, where she provides on-site, teledental, and clinical advisory services. Active in professional and community organizations, she co-chairs the Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce Health Equity Committee and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Nekia continues to participate in various community service projects throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.
