Disclosure Scotland
Disclosure Scotland is a Scottish Government executive agency.
We help employers make safer decisions when they're recruiting people.
We also make sure unsuitable people do not work with vulnerable groups, including children.
Disclosure Scotland manages the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and conducts all disclosure checks in Scotland.
We offer FREE webinars for all users of disclosures and the PVG scheme.
- How to be a Countersignatory - covers the PVG Code of Practice, how to apply for the correct disclosure and your legal responsibilities in handling disclosure information.
- PVG Regulated Roles - covers why it is a legal requirement for certain roles to be in the PVG Scheme, what is a regulated role and how to assess if a role requires PVG scheme membership.
- PVG Duty to Refer - helps you understand your regulatory obligations, what conduct meets the criteria for a referral, how to make a referral and what happens with the information you provide.
