Dr. Kelly Holder currently serves as the Chief Wellness Officer for the Warren Alpert Medical School. Dr. Holder earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Loma Linda University, and completed postdoctoral training in Behavioral Medicine from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She has experience working in community mental health, private practice, college counseling centers, and health systems. Most recently she served as the Director of the Office for Professional Mental Health at Penn State University College of Medicine and Hershey Medical Center. She is trained in national mental health and suicide prevention gatekeeping programs: Mental Health First Aid and Question. Persuade. Refer (QPR) Dr. Holder believes wellness is primarily determined by systemic, environmental, and cultural factors. The work ahead of us is to create a system-level transformation that will produce a culture of well-being. Wellness is not the job of one person or one office, but a collective effort. Together we will create an environment where our members do not have to sacrifice their well-being to serve others.
