Our Second Act, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is

working diligently to find innovative, interesting, informative, and

fun ways to fulfill our mission to improve the social, cultural, and

educational quality of life for women 50 years of age and older.

Our Second Act, Inc. was established in 2008 by our founder, Lois

Laster. We are celebrating our 17th year of serving the women in

our community. In 2022 Our Second Act, Inc was awarded a

proclamation by St. Louis County Executive, Sam Page, for

donating over $36,000, and community service, stating that April

30th is Our Second Act Day.

We are forty-two members strong, and we are evolving into the

activist organization our founder and charter members

envisioned.

As President, I am working with our dedicated members to

continue to give scholarships, develop workshops, seminars,

social, and cultural events that are formulated to revitalize and

assist women in realizing and implementing their goals and

dreams.

It is my honor and pleasure to serve as president of this

organization. As we are assisting others, we are also developing

our own strengths.

“Life is lovelier the second time around” and we are making a
