Devil’s Botany is the UK's first Absinthe distillery, celebrating the herbal elixirs of London.Founded in November 2020 by Directors of The Last Tuesday Society, the inspiration for Devil’s Botany arose from a curious elixir discovered in the recipe books of London’s 18th century apothecaries. Nearly a century before the first commercial absinthe distilleries opened elsewhere in the world, London’s dram-drinkers were already enjoying an example of absinthe made by the city’s apothecaries.
