The Generational Salon

The Generational Salon

24 Camden PassageLondon, England
Monday, Mar 9, 2026 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm GMT
Overview

The Generational Salon launches with an intimate evening of readings, conversation, and Q&A with authors Manish Chauhan and Hafsa Zayyan.

The Generational Salon is a new literary series created to explore cross-generational themes in literature and the arts - the stories, relationships, and questions that shape us across time.

For our first event, we’re delighted to welcome two exceptional authors, Manish Chauhan (Belgrave Road) and Hafsa Zayyan (We Are All Birds of Uganda).

The evening will begin with short readings from both writers, followed by a moderated conversation led by Sharath Jeevan, founder of Oxford’s Generational Success Lab, and an open discussion with the audience.

After the conversation, you’ll have the chance to meet the authors, get your books signed, and enjoy time to mingle in the warm setting of Spring Valley Coffee on Camden Passage.

Schedule

  • Arrivals from 6:30pm
  • Readings and discussion from 7:00pm to 8:15pm
  • Book signings and mingling from 8:15pm to 9:00pm

Capacity is limited to around 50 guests, so please reserve a ticket to secure your seat.
