Streaming: Lanzamiento global del Informe GEM 2023 - Launch 2023 GEM Report

El Lanzamiento global del Informe de seguimiento de la educación en el mundo (Informe GEM) 2023 sobre la tecnología en la educación se desarrollará en formato híbrido y reunirá a ministros de educación, expertos, académicos, representantes de organizaciones civiles y del sector privado de América Latina y el Caribe y del resto del mundo, para reflexionar sobre los principales hallazgos y recomendaciones del Informe GEM 2023. Será la primera vez en la historia del Informe GEM que el lanzamiento global, un hito clave en el calendario de educación global, tendrá lugar en América Latina.

Durante la primera jornada se realizará el lanzamiento global del Informe, seguido por un diálogo de alto nivel sobre el rol de la tecnología en la educación con ministros de América Latina y África y expertos internacionales. En la tarde tendrá lugar el Encuentro anual de la Alianza para la Digitalización de la Educación en América Latina (ADELA), liderada por la Fundación Ceibal. Durante la segunda jornada se realizará el evento “Tecnología y educación en América Latina: perspectivas regionales y globales” organizado por la Fundación Ceibal en el marco de ADELA, y en la tarde tendrán lugar, de forma paralela, el panel de discusión: “¿Cómo pueden los proveedores de tecnología acompañar el desarrollo sostenible de la educación en la región?”, y un evento de alto nivel sobre modelos híbridos y políticas educativas, organizado por la UNESCO.

El objetivo del Informe GEM es supervisar el progreso en la consecución de las metas educativas en relación a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS).

The global launch of the 2023 Global Education Monitoring Report on technology in education will take place in a hybrid format and will bring together ministers of education, experts, academics, representatives of civil organizations and the private sector from Latin America and the Caribbean and the rest of the world to reflect on the main findings and recommendations of the GEM Report 2023. This will be the first time in the history of the GEM Report that the global launch, a key milestone in the global education calendar, will take place in Latin America.

The first day will feature the global launch of the Report, followed by a high-level dialogue where ministers of education from Latin America and Africa and international experts will be invited to reflect on the role of technology in Education. In the afternoon, the annual meeting of the Alliance for the Digitalization of Education in Latin America (ADELA), led by the Ceibal Foundation, will take place. During the second day, the event "Technology and education in Latin America: regional and global perspectives" organized by the Ceibal Foundation in the framework of ADELA will be held, and in the afternoon there will be a parallel panel discussion: "How can technology providers accompany the sustainable development of education in the region", and a high-level event on hybrid models and educational policies, organized by UNESCO.

The objective of the GEM Report is to monitor progress in the achievement of educational goals in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
