The BEARR Trust

The BEARR Trust is an English charity founded in 1991 to help improve the health and social welfare of vulnerable people in countries of the former Soviet Union. BEARR has pioneered support for grass-roots voluntary groups in the region, and continues to help small health and social welfare NGOs to share knowledge, skills and contacts. With a database of over 600 regional NGOs and over 800 UK contacts, BEARR is the only English charity working in this region that combines grant-giving and networking services.
