Organization for Identity and Cultural Development

The Organisation for Identity & Cultural Development (OICD) is at the forefront of understanding and addressing the complex challenges posed by identity-based manipulation and cultural division in contemporary society. We develop evidence-based methodologies, practical tools, and training programs to equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge to build resilience against disinformation, foster social cohesion, and promote healthy identity agency.

Rooted in interdisciplinary research spanning psychological anthropology, neuroscience, and social psychology, OICD translates complex theory into actionable strategies. Our work, including the "Reclaiming Our Narratives" guide and the "Positive Identity Expansion" strategy, empowers practitioners, policymakers, NGOs, and communities to effectively counter harmful narratives by cultivating positive, inclusive alternatives. Through initiatives like Project SPELLBREAK and resources such as Atlas Cultura, OICD is dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of identity dynamics and empowering communities to thrive in an increasingly complex world.
