For more than a thousand years, St Mary le Tower has stood at the heart of Ipswich, serving as its Civic Church since 1200. Holding a special place in the history of the town, re-designated as Ipswich Minster it now holds a central place in its future. Rooted prayer and worship, nurtured by the english choral tradition, and committed to service of the community, we embrace a bold vision of a renewed church, inspired to share God’s love through welcome, worship, faith, and action.

We are a welcoming, inclusive, and open church offering peace and sanctuary in the heart of Ipswich. Inspired by the Christian Gospel we are deeply committed to loving and serving our community, inspiring renewal and transformation, and enabling people to flourish through prayer and positive action, ultimately discovering their true potential, that is, who God has called them to be.
