Dr Mark McBride-Wright CEng MIChemE founded EqualEngineers in 2017 as the go-to hub for inclusive engineering employers and diverse engineers. Mark has merged his experience as a health and safety engineer and passion for diversity and inclusion to form a consultancy creating a more open and accepting industry.

EqualEngineers specifically targets underrepresented groups within engineering and tehcnology: female; ethnic minority; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+); disabled and those from a lower socioeconomic background. Candidates can register on our platform EqualEngineersJobsand are able to apply for jobs with our member employers. Our platform enables engineering employers to showcase how they are creating inclusive cultures and to promote the benefits they offer. We offer insights for our candidates to make informed decisions on which employers they would like to work for. 

EqualEngineers hosts events and initatives to accelerate promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion within engineering and technology. EqualEngineers believes in the importance of raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing, and is delighted to partner with Champs Consulting to deliver a programme of work putting mental health awareness training at the heart of the profession.
