David Oldfield
I am David Oldfield, I aim to host events, workshops, and training on various topics of interest within the field of counselling and psychotherapy. These will primarily be aimed at qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, but may be of interest to practitioners from aligned fields also.
I believe training should be accessible and inclusive. Affordability in training and the practice of counselling and psychotherapy can be a major barrier for some, and I hope to offer training that is affordable and accessible to people from all socio-economic/-cultural backgrounds. If there is a training or event that you would really like to attend and affordability is an issue, please let me know by getting in touch.

I am an NCPS (Acc.) registered integrative psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and teacher based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, working in-person and online. I offer short- and long-term individual counselling & psychotherapy to adults, and individual & group clinical supervision to trainee and qualified therapists.
My approach is integrative and predominantly relational, and informed mostly by psychodynamic theories; developmental theories; humanistic and experiential approaches; intervention-based approaches; and social learning theories.
Although I work with a range of issues, I have particular experience working with anxiety and panic-related conditions; and interpersonal, relational, and attachment-based problems.
