Boot Routes

Boot Routes is run by Darren Parkinson a qualified Mountain Leader with years of experience taking groups up various mountains and on various charity walks. Darren holds an outdoors First Aid certificate along with a Mental Health First Aid certificate and has been running a series of welfare walks for years. Boot Routes runs monthly NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) navigation courses at all levels along with night navigation sessions and introductions to navigation days. Darren is a keen wildlife photographer and runs a 'Wildlife Photography for beginners' workshop along with monthly wildlife walks. Darren is also a Duke of Edinburgh trainer and assessor for Bronze, Silver and Gold Expeditions. Boot Routes is authorised to run Hill Skills and Mountain Skills courses on behalf of Mountain Training.
