The American Wine Society is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to increase its member's appreciation for wine by increasing their knowledge of and experience with wine.

The members of American Wine Society - Chicago chapter are wine enthusiasts that love to take advantage of the local Chicago food and wine scene while learning about wine. We have a diverse membership, from those just getting into the wine scene to those that work in the industry and those that are pursuing formal wine certification. We hold informal tastings, bottle shares, wine dinners, and educational events to educate our group and guests about wine and wine-related topics in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
