Dubuque Bakery
I’m Katya, owner of Dubuque Bakery - a licensed microbakery in Snohomish, WA. I focus on real sourdough bread made with organic ingredients and fresh-milled whole-grain flours (wheat, rye, einkorn, spelt), long fermentation, and simple, clean recipes and no artificial additives. As a cancer research scientist turned artisan baker, I bring both curiosity and clarity to the craft.
I’m starting hands-on sourdough classes because baking can be wonderfully simple, and surprisingly tricky. I get a lot of questions, and there’s plenty of myth and misinformation out there. My goal is to make the process fun and approachable, debunk the common myths, and help you bake healthy, delicious breads with confidence. And we’ll learn together, it’s not just me teaching; we’ll share experiences, tips, and discoveries so everyone leaves with new skills and inspiration.
