• Should people doing the same work be paid the same, regardless of where they live? Why or why not? Imagine you’re hiring someone: Would you base pay on skill or local rate?
• Have you ever negotiated pay across borders? What made that process feel fair or unfair?
  
  Whether you're an freelance, employer, or simply interested in the topic, this call is open to all! Expect an open and supportive space for discussion, with stories and perspectives from across the world.

  This is a small, welcoming gathering where we come together to genuinely connect and reflect.

We begin with a gentle check-in — a moment to turn inward and share how we’re feeling. It helps us meet each other as humans first, creating a space of empathy and presence.

Next, we briefly introduce Pakufi and why we’re hosting this event. Then we dive into the topic of the day. Sometimes we use collaborative tools to note thoughts and ideas; other times we simply share in open conversation.

You can expect a diverse group of participants from different parts of the world, backgrounds, and fields. A moderator is always present to hold the space and guide the flow of discussion.

We care deeply about how we communicate: we stay curious, avoid judgment, and make room for everyone to speak. While we value open dialogue and even working through conflict, we do not tolerate harmful or disrespectful behaviour, this is a space built on care and trust.
