Join us for the inaugural Community Stroke Conference at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital in Vaughan, ON. This in-person event will bring together stroke survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to share experiences and knowledge. Connect with others who understand the challenges of stroke recovery and find inspiration in their stories of resilience. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by stroke.

Is parking included for registrants?

Yes! Parking passes will be provided the morning of the event to those who have registered. Please park in visitor parking and take an entry ticket. You will be provided with the parking pass ticket to exit the lot when you come into the event.

Are there food services on site?

Yes! Starbucks, Tim Hortons, OB Grill and Subway are on site to purchase food and drink.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the event is on the main floor in the Auditorium and is wheelchair accessible.

How do the breakout sessions work?

People can sign up for breakout sessions on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited, come early to reserve your spot.

Who organized this event?

This event was guided by the inspiration of a patient partner who envisioned a gathering that supported those living in the community with stroke. The event is a collaboration between Mackenzie Health, Central East Stroke Network, March of Dimes Canada and several other community organizations.
