Su experiencia profesional como Arquitecto y Diseñador Urbano y su pasión por las artes lo han forjado en una forma paralela durante sis estudios iniciales en Guanajuato, México en los estudios de bellas artes del profesor Jesús Gallardo donde estudio dibujo, acuarela y grabado en metal.

Su desarrollo profesional en Canadá en los últimos 42 años ha fusionado las artes, la arquitectura y el diseño urbano y le han brindado la oportunidad de enseñar estudios de diseño arquitectónico en la UBC y trabajar profesionalmente en América del Norte, del Sur, Asia y Europa. Estos viajes han influido en su visión artística al enseñar y organizar eventos y talleres en Canadá, España e Italia, y afortunadamente continuar paralelamente con su carrera profesional en Arquitectura y diseño urbano.

Su interés en Plein Air lo ham llevado a crear eventos en Vancouver y ser parte activa de ellos The Cherry Blossom Festival (2007-17) & The Harmony Festival Plein Air Challenge (2018-continua), 2 Internacional Bienales, (Federación of Canadian Artists, 2012.como vicepresidente de la FCA y miembro 2010-2016) y la BIENAL IWS 2014 (como primer representante canadiense de IWS Canadá y miembro de la junta 2012-2015).

Igualmente, su participación y asociaciones con grupos internacionales como representante líder del Canada en los eventos anuales en las “Exposiciones Internacionales InAcquarello” en Fabriano,Urbino y Venecia (2014-2021) han mantenido su creciente interés en la promoción y el desarrollo de la acuarela como una forma de arte principal.

Las experiencias obtenidas en estos eventos internacionales siempre las ha compartodpen sus talleres de acuarela y demostraciones.

Hoy continúa su búsqueda en la exploración del dibujo y la pintura EN PLEIN AIR y tratando de encontrar una expresión personal que sea capaz de traducir la esencia de sutema.

I love architecture and urban design and my communication tools with a pencil and paper have given me the opportunity to explore the beauty of being able to record ideas, experiences and learnings in a visual form, that I can share with others looking for a form of their personal expression. The use of " WATERCOLOR AND WORKING OUTDOORS are the means that I found as the bases of my personal exploration and perhaps of trying to be an"artist”.

My professional experience as an Architect and Urban Designer and my passion for the arts were forged in a parallel way during my initial studies in Guanajuato, Mexico in the fine arts studios of Professor Jesús Gallardo where I learned drawing, watercolor and metal engraving.

My professional development in Canada over the last 42 years has merged the arts, architecture and urban design and has provided me with the opportunity to teach architectural design studies at UBC and work professionally across North and South America, Asia and Europe. These trips have influenced my artistic vision by teaching and organizing events and workshops in Canada, Spain and Italy, and fortunately currently maintain in parallel my professional career in Architecture and urban design.

My interest in Plein Air has led me to create events in Vancouver and be an active part of them The Cherry Blossom Festival (2007-17) & The Harmony Festival Plein Air Challenge (2018-continuous), 2 International Biennials, (Federation of Canadian Artists, 2012, as FCA Vice President and 2010-2016 Member) and IWS BIENNIAL 2014 (as IWS Canada's First Canadian Representative and 2012-2015 Board Member).

Likewise, my participation and associations with international groups as a leading representative of Canada in the annual events at the "InAcquarello International Exhibitions" in Fabriano, Urbino and Venice (2014-2021) have maintained my growing interest in the promotion and development of watercolor as a main art form. The experiences obtained in these international events are always share in my watercolor workshops and demonstrations.

Today I continue my search in the exploration of drawing and painting IN PLEIN AIR and trying to find a personal expression that is capable of translating the essence of my subject.

LIFE IS A CONTINUOUS SEARCH IN THE ESSENCE OF HAPPINESS AND PAINTING IS A WAY TO FIND A MEANING TO HAPPINESS.

Lista de materiales - Materials

PAPEL

• APUNTE: Bond paper o papel para apuntes con lapiz y tinta
• ACUARELA: Papel de celulosa: de 140 gms - 300 grms ( Fabriano artistico, D’Arches, Hannemüle, Baohong,Canson) use papel bueno y los resultados serán mejores

LAPIZ: cualquiera de estas 3 opsiones

• Conte a Paris “crayon sepia” no para pastel pero para apuntes
• Tira de carbon suave “Carbonsillo”
• Lápiz suave 6B o 8B

PINCELES: (Figura 1)

• USE 3-4 pincels las marcas no importan (de pelo natural-sinteticos)
• Pero el grosor y punta si es importante. Los posibles numeros son #4 #6 #8 pero cada marca es diferente asi que que suguiero usar sus mejore pinceles y ver cuales son los mas eficientes.

ACUARELAS:

• Importante:Utilise su palleta de “colores usuales” de la marca que prefiera
